Payments Under Control mobile application

This Privacy Policy explains how the Payments Under Control mobile application collects, uses, stores and protects user data. The application helps users track recurring payments, subscriptions, loans, rent, insurance, utilities and similar obligations, including optional family synchronization and Pro features.

2. Data We Collect
Depending on the features used by the user, the application and server may process the following data:
- payment records entered by the user, including payment name, amount, date, category, status, note, reminder settings, deletion marker and last modification time;
- technical device identifiers generated by the application, device secret, protected device secret hash and device fingerprint;
- application activity metadata, including the first and most recent server contact, contact count, application version, distribution channel, interface language, push provider, installer source and current Pro or trial status;
- family synchronization identifiers, family invite code, family device label and synchronization timestamps;
- push notification token used to deliver payment reminders and family synchronization notifications;
- Pro subscription status, tariff, purchase date, expiration date, order identifier, payment amount and payment status;
- email address entered by the user during payment or support request;
- technical request information such as IP address, request time, server logs and error diagnostics.
The application does not collect bank card numbers, card verification codes or bank account credentials. Payment card details are entered on the payment provider side and are not stored by the application.
3. How We Use Data
We use the collected data to:
- display and manage the user's payment calendar and recurring obligations;
- send local and push reminders about upcoming payments;
- synchronize payment data between family devices when the user enables family access;
- activate, verify, renew and restore Pro access;
- process payment status with the payment provider;
- provide support, troubleshoot errors and improve reliability;
- measure active application installations, understand version adoption and maintain compatibility with supported releases;
- prevent abuse, unauthorized access and technical failures.
4. Family Synchronization
If the user creates or joins a family group, selected payment data is synchronized between devices in that group. Other family members may see shared payment names, amounts, dates, categories and payment statuses. Users can mark a payment as personal when this feature is available in the application; personal payments are not shown to family members.
5. Payments and Pro Access
Pro purchases are processed through an external payment provider. We receive and store only information needed to activate and verify Pro access, such as payment status, order identifier, amount, tariff and purchase dates. Card details and payment credentials are handled by the payment provider and are not stored by us.
6. Push Notifications
The application may use push notifications for reminders and family synchronization events. To deliver these notifications, the application sends a device push token to the server. The user can disable notifications in the device settings, but reminders and family updates may become limited.
7. Data Sharing
We do not sell user personal data. Data may be shared only in the following cases:
- with the payment provider to process and confirm Pro payments;
- with push notification infrastructure to deliver notifications requested by the application;
- with family group members when the user enables family synchronization;
- when required by law, regulation or a lawful request from competent authorities.
8. Data Storage and Security
Data is stored on protected servers and in the application storage on the user's device. We use technical and organizational measures intended to protect data from unauthorized access, loss, misuse or alteration. No method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, but we work to keep the service reasonably protected.
9. Data Retention
Data is retained for as long as it is needed to provide the application features, measure recent application activity, maintain Pro access, support synchronization, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes and prevent abuse. Application activity records contain only the latest technical state and counters rather than a history of every application opening. The user may request deletion of server-side data by contacting support.
10. User Rights and Choices
Users may request access to their personal data, correction, deletion, restriction of processing or withdrawal of consent by contacting us at vitaliivanov2804@gmail.com. Some requests may limit or disable Pro access, family synchronization, backup, restoration or support features.
11. Children's Privacy
The application is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe that a child has provided personal data, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
12. International Users
The application is primarily intended for users in the Russian Federation. By using the application, the user understands that data may be processed and stored on servers used to provide the service.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be published on this page with a new effective date. Continued use of the application after publication of changes means acceptance of the updated policy where permitted by law.
